There's a lot to be said about premium mechanical keyboards and the typing feel and auditory feedback they offer. However, a full-height mechanical keyboard, like the Epomaker Tide 75 we recently reviewed, simply isn't the best or most comfortable solution for many people. That's where a low-profile keyboard, like the Yunzii L75 comes in. It offers many of the same benefits as a full-height mechanical keyboard in what is considered by many to be a more ergonomic, not to mention more portable, package.
The Yunzii L75 is only available in a dark translucent ABS case with dark grey keycaps and mint green accent keys — a look that is inoffensive in general, but might not be for everyone. At the current 50% discount on Amazon, the Yunzii L75 comes in at just $49.99, making it a steal compared to other low-profile mechanical keyboards, like the Lofree Flow (curr. $169.99 on Amazon).

Some of the standout features of the Yunzii L75 are its compact 75% layout, Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz connectivity options, and its gasket mount, which generally helps soften the typing feel and isolate the PCB and keyboard case to reduce sound propagation through the case. To aid sound damping, the Yunzii L75 also packs three layers of acoustic materials — PE plate foam, IXPE switch pad, and button silicone pad for the case bottom — into its transparent ABS case. All of this sound treatment is in service of reducing echoes and hollow-sounding key press bottom-outs. In general, ABS cases with PC plates and plentiful case foams tend to produce a somewhat muted, clacky sound signature.
The Yunzii L75 is available from Amazon with Outemu Low Profile Red switches, which are 3-pin linear switches with an actuation force of 45 gf and a total travel distance of 3 mm. While these Outemu switches aren't factory-lubricated, they are typically positively reviewed, and they can be replaced with any low-profile switch that has the same Cherry-style 3-pin design.
The keyboard is compatible with basically anything that it can conceivably connect to, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices. Another notable nice-to-have is the built-in storage compartment for the 2.4 GHz dongle in the top right of the case, under the metal accent plate.
