Model: The HP Pavilion 15-ak003nf is a portable gaming laptop designed for those who are looking to do some casual gaming on-the-move. Flashy green textures on its matte black chassis give the laptop a distinctive flashy look - something that all gaming laptops need. The Microsoft Windows 10 64-bit system features a 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7-6700HQ Skylake processor, a dedicated Maxwell NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M graphic card with 4 GB DDR3 VRAM, 8 GB DDDR3L 1600 MHz RAM and a free RAM slot, a M.2 128 GB SSD and a 1 TB hard drive with 5400 rpm.

Its 15.6-inch anti-glare LED display features Full HD resolution and wide viewing angles thanks to the IPS technology. Matching to the green highlights on the chassis, the keyboard features a green backlight, which makes it easier for the user to type in the dark or under low-lighting conditions. As for connectivity, the laptop includes two USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, an audio combo jack, a card reader and a DVD drive. It weighs 2.3 kg, which is decent enough for a gaming laptop.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
