HP Omen 35L refreshed with Intel Arrow Lake and Radeon RX 9000 series graphics cards

Alongside the flagship Omen Max 45L, HP has also refreshed the slightly more affordable Omen 35L. It, too, gets Intel's new Core Ultra 200 Plus Arrow Lake processors. Many would consider it a sidegrade because its last iteration ran Raptor Lake processors, which, in many instances, handily outperformed their Arrow Lake counterparts.
CPU choices range between the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250KF Plus, both of which are mounted on an Intel Z890 motherboard, complete with a full-fat Thunderbolt 4.0 port. Other I/O includes four USB 2.0 ports, two 10 Gbps USB Type-C ports, four 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and up to a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet jack.
GPU options include the GeForce RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, RTX 5070, RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060, Radeon RX 9070 XT and Radeon RX 9060 XT. Like the Omen 45L, the Omen 35L also supports up to 128 GB of DDR-4800 or 64 GB of DDR5-6000 memory.
Unfortunately, the Omen 35L can not be configured with a SATA HDD out of the box. One can, however, pick up to a 2 TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD and a 2 TB PCIe Gen4 SSD. HP keeps the stystem cool with give 120 mm fans: two on the front, one on the back and two on the top. And yes, there's RGB.
HP lets you pick up to a 1,000-Watt 80-Plus Gold PSU for the Omen Max 35L. Other options include 850-Watt and 600-Watt units, both of which are 80-Plus Gold certified. Like its elder sibling, the Omen Max 35L launches in May, with pricing to be revealed at a later date.
