ESR offers a way to future-proof wireless charging on the road with the latest version of its Magnetic Charger for cars. It is "officially" certified to use the emerging Qi2 standard of wireless charging, and is also MagSafe-compatible for the 12-, 13-, 14-, or 15-series iPhone you might have now.

The Qi2 Magnetic Wireless Car Charger comes with both an air vent clip and an adhesive-backed stand in the box, and is backed to keep a compatible mobile device stable with nothing more than magnets, albeit magnets rated to keep a load with a mass of up to 1,600 grams (g) aloft.

ESR's newest in-car accessory does not come with a car charger adapter, although the USB-C to -C cable and type-A adapter might be all it needs for its installation. It is listed on Amazon at an RRP of $35.99, although that is usually slashed to a more attractive $29.99.
