High-end iPads might have broken more ground in the drive for more of a MacBook-like status by gaining long-awaited support for Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro. Now, the iPad Pro 11 (2022) might be next to capitalize on these new applications with the help of its new ESR SHIFT Magnetic Case.
The product consists of 2 separate parts, which cover the popular 'case' and 'stand' aspects of many tablet accessories. They connect via "ultra-stable" magnets, which allow the tablet to be suspended up to 8.5cm above a desk or table in the SHIFT case's "elevated reading view" mode. The feature may also make going from either orientation easier.
Magnets are also found in the 6 grooves for the rest of the accessory's viewing modes, which allow for tilt angles that range from 15° to 75°. Finally, the new product even has an Apple Pencil silo on the back. The ESR SHIFT Magnetic Case is currently available from Amazon in black, brown, blue or purple for a starting price of US$59.99.
