Update | OnePlus Pad: Stylo and Magnetic Keyboard revealed as in-box accessories

Update: OnePlus' new official page for its first-gen tablet now contains a footnote corresponds to marketing material for the Pad's accessories reading "OnePlus Stylo, OnePlus Magnetic Keyboard, and OnePlus Folio Case will be sold separately". In addition, the tweet asserting that they would come in the box is now nowhere to be found. It may be too soon to say anything for sure, but it appears the brand has now walked this selling point back ahead of the inaugural ReadFirst Display device's April 2023 pre-order event.

Original Article: Some consumers in the market for a new tablet may have looked as teasers for the upcoming OnePlus Pad and wondered where they would find a case to fit its unusually huge round camera hump. However, the OEM has stepped in and announced that this will not be a problem, as there will be one in the box.

This accessory will in fact also function as a Magnetic Keyboard, which, as its new name suggests, docks to the Pad via compatible pins. It also converts the slate into something like a 2-in-1 thanks to a stand spotted in OnePlus' latest teaser video.

The same clip also shows the new OnePlus Stylo at work. This accessory also apparently comes in the box, and is a pen designed for a screen rumored to have premium specs such as a high refresh rate.

Both bonus items are slated to match the colorway in which a Pad is ordered (currently believed to be the same as those for the flagship 11 smartphone), and to enhance a first-gen "Smooth without Equal" experience set to debut globally on February 7, 2023.
