Going by previous generations, the Samsung Galaxy S11 will probably be released sometime in February next year. That means we're about four months away from launch—give or take a few weeks—and that puts us right at the start of prime leak season.
According to Ice Universe, by far the most notable Samsung leakster, the Galaxy S11's design and major hardware elements have now been finalized, and we're all set for concrete leaks.
So what do we know about the Galaxy S11?
- It will likely look similar to the S10—expect a hole punch
- It will see major changes to its camera hardware—perhaps 5x optical zoom and a new, powerful main sensor
- It will be likely be powered by the Exynos 9830—or Snapdragon 865, depending on the market
The biggest talking point with the S11 will undoubtedly be its cameras, as Samsung has used very similar hardware for the last two generations, and is now a full step behind other OEMs in the hardware department. A few other bones of contention exist, though? Will the Galaxy S11 ditch the headphone jack? What will pricing be like?
Good thing is, we won't have to wait for much longer. Be prepared.
