Garmin has teased the date of its next hardware event, just a day after Polar did the same. Revealed on social media, the event will occur on November 8. In other words, Garmin will continue to introduce new hardware on Tuesdays.
Currently, Garmin has not hinted at what smartwatch it plans to unveil, unless it has done so cryptically. In today's teaser, the company included a cross symbol, while it also struck through the word 'through' in its Twitter post. Potentially, these tidbits point towards a new Crossover smartwatch, which it inadvertently leaked earlier this month. As we discussed at the time, the Instinct Crossover is expected to launch in Black, Solar - Tactical and Solar - Graphite variants. For reference, the Instinct Crossover is a hybrid smartwatch rather than one with a full smartwatch UI.
However, it seems that Garmin is working towards releasing the Vivomove Trend too. At this stage, we would not rule out Garmin presenting more than a single smartwatch next week, as has often been the case during its previous launch events. Presumably, Garmin will post more teasers between now and November 8 as well.
