Huawei Watch GT Cyber: Hands-on photo leaks online sporting chunky design
Last week, Huawei teased the Watch GT Cyber, a smartwatch that is due to arrive alongside the Pocket S. Subsequently, a hands-on photo of the forthcoming smartwatch has surfaced on Weibo, which the likes of @RODENT950 and Huawei Central have reshared. Surprisingly, it seems that Huawei's marketing image could be accurate and was not a dramatic interpretation of the Watch GT Cyber's capabilities.
Specifically, the Watch GT Cyber appears to have a body that can be disconnected from its external case. As the leaked hands-on image shows, the latter is huge and may even make the Apple Watch Ultra seem small. Additionally, Huawei has included a digital crown with a crown guard but no other physical buttons. Unfortunately, it remains unclear whether the Watch GT Cyber will support replaceable watch straps or other accessories of that ilk.
Moreover, Huawei has only hinted at the smartwatch's availability in China. Hence, Huawei has not confirmed if it plans to release the Watch GT Cyber outside its home market. Typically, the company takes a few months to bring products that it has released in China to other regions, such as the Eurozone and the rest of Asia. The Watch GT Cyber will debut on November 2 at 19:00 CST (11:00 UTC) as part of a wider hardware launch event.
