It seems that Garmin and Polar are going to head-to-head. While the former has confirmed that it will present a new smartwatch on November 8, Polar has outlined that it will host its next launch event a day later. Although Garmin has remained secretive about what it has planned, Polar has indicated that it will introduce a product under the motto 'Find Your Rhythm'.
Unfortunately, Polar has not revealed any details about its next device. However, leaks suggest that the company will introduce the Ignite 3, a smartwatch that it added to its Brazil website and within its smartphone app. Incidentally, Polar has had a quiet year, particularly compared with Garmin. Currently, the Pacer and Pacer Pro are Polar's only new smartwatches for 2022. Hence, we would not rule out Polar introducing several smartwatches next week in time for this holiday season.
Polar's hardware event will comment at 15:00 EET, or 13:00 UTC. If Polar's teaser video is anything to go by, then Ignite 3 will focus heavily on wellness and low-intensity exercises like yoga and stretching. Based on updates within Polar's app, the Ignite 3 will support voice guidance, likely during workouts, as well as other quality-of-life improvements like customisable watch faces.
