Garmin announces new improved firmware for recent smartwatch
Garmin has released firmware version 4.11 for the Lily 2 series smartwatches. This stable update follows version 3.11, which arrived in February. The Lily 2 smartwatch is a recent addition to Garmin’s line-up, launching earlier this year as a smaller model helping you track your health and fitness.
Version 4.11 is said to enhance the stability of the Lily 2 and brings a new watch face menu option to the smartwatch. There are minor optimisations, like removing an exclamation mark in the sleep widget and increasing the height of each line in a list. Also included are several bug fixes, resolving issues with translation in the DeepLink feature and the indicator for the round gauge. Garmin has also tackled a problem with truncating data on activity screens and the VO2 Max page.
Plus, there are new versions of Text Translations (4.10), GCM Translations (4.10) and the Sensor Hub (30.24). In a post on the forum, a member of the Garmin team confirmed that the update was available to all units of the Lily 2 smartwatch. You can download the stable software release via Garmin Express or Garmin Connect Mobile.
