The next few weeks will be awash with new foldable releases. To recap, the Vivo X Fold5 will be first up on June 25. However, this will only be true in China. Apparently, Vivo intends to bring the X Fold5 to India early next month, though.
As has been widely reported, the Magic V5 will be next up on July 2. Again limited to a Chinese release, it is currently unclear when Honor will offer its Magic V3 (curr. $1,600 on Amazon) successor outside its home market. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold7 should be available to pre-order globally from July 9.
According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy Z Fold7 will be the best of the three. Allegedly 'too exquisite', the leaker adds that foldable fans will 'lose interest in other folding machines' once the Galaxy Z Fold7 officially arrives. Unfortunately, Ice Universe has not elaborated why yet.
With that being said, we suspect the reason for the high praise stems from Samsung's decision to compete with its rivals on thinness, which it has arguably refrained from with previous Galaxy Z Fold generations. Incidentally, pricing and launch colours for not just the Galaxy Z Fold7 but also the Galaxy Z Flip7 have now emerged online, full details of which we have covered separately.
