Samsung is not expected to officially unveil the Galaxy Z Fold7 until the start of next month. In the meantime, Honor and Vivo will get ahead of Samsung by introducing foldables of their own. To that end, the X Fold5 has arrived today in China.
Although the Galaxy Z Fold7 will not debut until July 9, Evan Blass and Roland Quandt have got their hands on crucial details ahead of time. For instance, Blass has now published dozens of render images in the foldable's three main launch colours. Identified as Blue Shadow, Jet Black and Silver Shadow by a recent leak, all colours should be configurable with 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of storage.
Meanwhile, Quandt has dismissed recent suggestions that the Galaxy Z Fold7 will cost any more than the existing Galaxy Z Fold6 (curr. $999.99 - refurbished on Amazon). Citing an unspecified retailer, Quandt reports that this year's Galaxy Z Fold is set to launch for €1,999 with 256 GB of storage, which should correlate with £1,799 and $1,899.99 in the UK and US, respectively.
Likewise, the same leaker claims that Samsung intends to offer the Galaxy Z Fold7 with 512 GB and 1 TB of storage at the same prices as last year's model. In other words, expect to see these storage options arriving for £1,899/$1,999/€2,199 and £1,999/$2,099/€2,359, respectively.
