The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite has made its way to India after launching first in other markets. However, despite its affordable pricing, it will be going up against the cheaper Apple iPad 11. There's also the Galaxy Tab S10 FE, which has better specs but costs a little more.

Following its launch in Europe last month, Samsung has now announced the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite in India. The new tablet joins the Galaxy Tab S10 series as its most affordable model.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite is available in India in two configurations — 6GB RAM + 128GB and 8GB RAM +256GB. Both configurations are available in Gray, Silver, and Coral Red. Buyers also have the option of choosing between Wi-Fi-only or 5G+Wi-Fi.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite has a 10.9-inch 90Hz TFT LCD panel with uniform but thick bezels. However, Samsung doesn't say what type of protection the display has. Powering the tablet is the Exynos 1380, the same processor inside the Galaxy A35 (read our review).

There's an 8MP camera on the back, while the front is home to a 5MP sensor. The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite has a microSD card for storage expansion, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 6, and a USB 2.0 Type-C port. It lacks an audio jack but has stereo speakers.

The tablet has S Pen support and comes with a stylus in the box. Users will be able to straighten handwritten notes, apply even spaces between words, and fix the shape of a letter, all with a single tap. There's also a feature called “Solve Math” built into the Samsung Notes app that can help solve math problems. All you have to do is write out the question in legible handwriting, and it will provide the answer.

Like the Galaxy Tab S10 FE, the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite has an 8,000mAh battery capacity, but it charges more slowly at 25W. Unsurprisingly, it doesn't come with a charger in the box, but you do get a USB-C to USB-C cable. Samsung ships it with Android 15 and says that it will receive updates until the 31st of August, 2032, which means 7 years of OS upgrades and security updates.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Lite has a starting price of ₹30,999 (~$352/€299) for the base Wi-Fi model, and it goes up to ₹35,999 (~$408/€347) for the 5G model. On the other hand, the 8GB RAM version costs ₹40,999 (~$465/€395) for the Wi-Fi variant and ₹45,999 (~$522/€444) for the 5G version. The tablet is available to buy now directly from Samsung and on Amazon India.

Samsung's new tablet will be facing stiff competition from rivals such as the iPad 11th generation, which is available on Amazon for ₹33,999 for the 128GB version. There's also the Galaxy Tab S10 FE (8+128GB), which has a more powerful processor, 45W fast charging, and better cameras, and can be purchased for ₹42,504 on Amazon.
