First look at Anker’s upcoming USB-C-only chargers: Multi-port designs and up to 240W power output
As per a new post on the r/Anker subreddit, the company seems to be expanding its USB-C charger lineup with five new models, each tailored for different power needs and device compatibility. None of these chargers feature any USB-A ports whatsoever, so if your tech arsenal consists of only USB-C powered devices, these might be right up your alley.
Here’s a breakdown of each model’s features:
1. 2-Port 50W Wall Charger (Model A2689): This model includes two USB-C ports, with a maximum output of 50W when using a single port. The total output for both ports combined also reaches 50W. Designed for portability, it features a type A foldable plug (which is typically used in North America), with variants available for type A, C, G, and I plug types.

2. 30W Wall Charger (Model A2657): A compact single-port USB-C charger, this model provides a maximum output of 30W. It also includes a foldable plug (type A) and supports plug variants for A, C, G, and I.
3. 4-Port 150W Wall Charger (Model A2655): Equipped with four USB-C ports, this charger can deliver up to 140W through the top port alone. If multiple ports are used, it distributes power across them, offering configurations like 100W + 50W or 100W + 30W + 20W. It includes a foldable type A plug and supports multiple regional plug types (A, C, G, and I).
4. 3-Port 70W Wall Charger (Model A2604): This charger includes three USB-C ports with a combined output of 70W. It can deliver 70W on a single port or distribute power among multiple devices when connected. Like the others, it has a foldable plug and supports plug types A, C, G, and I.
5. 4-Port 240W Desktop Charger (Model A2644): The highest-powered option in the new lineup, this desktop charger includes four USB-C ports with a maximum output of 240W. The top port can deliver up to 140W individually, while power is distributed across ports if more than one device is connected (e.g., 140W + 100W or 70W + 30W + 20W for three ports). This model also features a detachable base, offering more flexibility for desktop use.
Pricing and release dates for these models have yet to be confirmed.
