Upcoming Anker 5-in-1 USB-C hub to feature 4K HDMI and 90W power output
A new leak on the r/Anker subreddit has revealed details of an upcoming 5-in-1 USB-C Hub (Model A8357) from the company. This new hub includes one USB 3.2 Gen 1 USB-A port, with transfer speeds up to 5Gb/s, along with two USB 2.0 USB-A ports, which support speeds of 480Mb/s. For video output, the hub features an HDMI 1.4 port that supports 4K at 30Hz. Additionally, it includes a 100W USB-C input that delivers 90W of power to connected host devices.
The hub is an expansion on Anker’s existing 321 PowerExpand 3-in-1 USB-C PD Hub ($21.99 on Amazon) by incorporating two additional USB 2.0 ports for added flexibility in device connectivity. This would make it a practical choice for users needing multiple ports to connect peripherals, charge devices, or connect to an external display. The Xiaomi 4-in-1 USB-C and USB-A splitter also came out recently - take a look at that here.
Pricing and release dates for the 5-in-1 USB-C Hub have yet to be confirmed, but it is expected to be available soon.
