New Anker Solix C200 DC Power Bank launches with discount
The Anker Solix C200 DC Power Bank Station has been launched in the US and the UK. Images of this accessory alongside the Solix C200X were leaked on Reddit earlier this year, revealing many details about the product.
The C200 DC arrives as a smaller, cheaper alternative to the C300 DC, launched in August. The C200 DC has a 60,000mAh (192Wh) LiFePO4 battery with a 200W maximum charging output, while the C300DC has a larger 90,000mAh (288Wh) power pack and a higher combined output of 300W. The C200 DC offers five outputs: 140W USB-C, 100W USB-C, 15W USB-C and two 12W USB-A. Meanwhile, the C300 DC has all of these as well as a second 140W USB-C and a 120W car socket.
Both models can be recharged via a 100W solar panel input or a 140W PD 3.1 USB-C input, with the latter providing an 80% charge in around 80 minutes. The C200 DC lacks the built-in light provided by the C300 DC but is more compact measuring 3.9 × 4.3 × 7.3 inches (~99 x 109 x 185 mm) and weighing 4.2 lbs (~1.9 kg). For context, the C300 DC measures 4.9 x 4.7 x 7.9 inches (~124 x 119 x 201 mm) and weighs 6.2 lb (~2.8 kg).
You can now buy the Anker Solix C200 DC Power Bank Station for $109.99 at Amazon US, thanks to an in-page coupon providing a $60 discount on the $169.99 RRP. A similar discount is available at Amazon UK, with a voucher for £60 off, reducing the price from £169.99 to £109.99. The C300 DC is priced at $199.99/£199.99. Whether or when the product will launch in the EU remains to be seen. It is also unclear when the Solix C200X will launch and at what price.
