Some details of the new Oppo 80W Flash Charge Power Bank have been revealed on Weibo. The accessory is expected to launch alongside the Oppo Find X8 at an event in October. Features include dual charging ports and an integrated charging indicator light.

Oppo has teased the 80W Flash Charge Power Bank. The accessory is scheduled to be unveiled at the Oppo Find X8 smartphone series launch event. Images of the device have been shared in posters on the Chinese social media site Weibo, revealing some product details.

The 80W Flash Charger Power Bank supports fast charging of the Find X8. There appear to be two ports, one USB-C and one USB-A, with the power bank expected to recharge via USB-C. The power bank contains a 12,000mAh battery, though it is unclear how many times this would recharge the new smartphone. The full recharge time also remains to be seen, and an integrated light seems to indicate the charging status. The accessory is said to be wear-resistant and suitable for use on an airplane.

Further details, including the price of the Oppo 80W Flash Charge Power Bank, are expected to be revealed at the Find X8 launch event in China on October 24th. Another Oppo magnetic wireless charging power bank was seen in a leaked image in September; it is unclear whether this is a separate device launching at the same event or if the source was incorrect. Whether the power bank will reach other markets remains to be seen. In the meantime, you could consider purchasing the Anker Prime 12,000mAh Power Bank (130W) (curr. $49.99 at Amazon).
