Anker is developing a new 150W Wall Charger, according to recent rumors. With various changes, the upcoming accessory could be a successor to the 747 Charger (GaNPrime 150W). Differences are said to include four USB-C ports, an increased maximum output power and one missing feature.

Rumors suggest that Anker is working on a new 150W Wall Charger. The accessory is expected to be a successor to the popular Anker 747 Charger (GaNPrime 150W) launched two years ago.

According to a Reddit post from reliable leaker u/joshuadwx, the new wall charger will have four USB-C ports, and is missing USB-A ports. This would make it different to the older model, which offers three USB-C and one USB-A, and the first device of its kind from Anker to feature this many USB-C outputs. The maximum output for the upcoming device is 140W, an increase on the 100W of its predecessor. However, how the power is allocated when multiple ports are in use remains to be seen. It could be that the new model matches the 747 with PowerIQ 4.0 for dynamic power distribution based on the needs of your connected devices.

The expected release date and pricing for the new Anker 150W Wall Charger have yet to be revealed. As an indication of the price point, the Anker 747 Charger (GaNPrime 150W) is listed with a retail price of $109.99, though it is currently available at Amazon for $59.99; it is unclear how long this deal will last.
