New Anker 8-in-1 Charging Station rumored to be on the way
A new Anker 8-in-1 20W Charging Station is rumored to be on the way to the US. Images and details about the device were recently shared on Reddit by user u/joshuadwx, suggesting the product will have model number A91C3.
The 8-in-1 Charging Station appears to offer four pop-up AC outlets; this design helps to keep the product slim at 0.71 inches (~18 mm) thick. At one end of the device are two USB-C and two USB-A ports. The maximum USB-C output powers are 20W and 15W, while the USB-A delivers up to 12W. According to this information, 15W is shared across the four ports when they are in use simultaneously. At the opposite end of the device is a flat cable with a 45° swivel plug to connect to a power source. Other features of the rumored product include a 7-point safety system and a $200,000 connected equipment warranty.
The upcoming accessory is said to weigh 301 g (~10.6 oz) and measure 4.72 x 3.15 x 0.71 inches (~12.0 × 8.0 × 1.8 cm). It is unclear when the Anker 8-in-1 20W Charging Station will launch and at what price. Anker also recently launched a similar but more powerful product, the Prime Charging Station (8-in-1, 240W).
