An Anker Prime 8-in-1 Charging Station (240W) is said to be launching soon. Rumors about the product began earlier this year when Reddit user u/joshuadwx shared several images and further details about the device.
Now, it has been suggested that the Anker 8-in-1 Prime 240W Charging Station will launch on August 7th at Amazon US, priced at $169.99. This is part of a wider Anker Prime product release, with other anticipated products such as the Prime 3-Port 100W Wall Charger and the Prime Fusion Power Bank 9.6K. Outputs on the 8-in-1 Charging Station include two pop-up AC outlets for up to 1,250W power, four USB-C ports with a maximum of 140W power with single-use, alongside two 12W USB-A ports. The total USB output is said to be 240W.
Other features of the device include GaNPrime technology, a smart digital display, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity for app-based controls. The accessory measures 13.8 × 7.8 × 1.8 cm (~5.4 x 3.1 x 0.7 inches) and weighs 590g (~1.3 lbs). Compared to older models like the Anker Prime 6-in-1 Charging Station (140W), a significantly larger AC adapter appears to be one notable drawback. It is unclear whether or when the Anker Prime 8-in-1 Charging Station (240W), also known as model A91B2, will launch in other markets like Europe.
