New Anker 3-Port 100W Wall Charger rumored to launch soon
A new Anker Prime 3-Port 100W Wall Charger is expected to launch in the next couple of weeks. This is one of several products slated to launch on August 7th, with other upcoming accessories like a Prime 6-port 250W desktop charger and a 14-in-1 Prime charging docking station.
This wall charger was first spotted in images of the USB-C to USB-C Cable (240W, Upcycled-Braided) launched earlier this year. Now, further details about the accessory have been shared on Reddit by u/joshuadwx. With model number A2688, the product appears to offer two PowerIQ USB-C ports with a maximum output of 100W alongside a USB-A port. On top of this, the image indicates that the device uses GaNPrime technology, and ActiveShield 2.0 is expected to protect against overheating.
It has also been suggested that the pins are foldable, making the charger easier to transport; the accessory measures 4.5 × 2.9 × 6.8 cm (~1.75 x 1.1 x 2.7 inches) and weighs 170 g (~6.0 oz). The charger has a light silver/gray finish and is ribbed at the end closest to the pins. Whether the Anker Prime 3-Port 100W Wall Charger launches on August 7th, in which countries and at what price has yet to be revealed.
