Fiido claims to have adapted its modern e-bike design to make something ideal for those long summer road or trail rides in the new Nomads model.
Its step-over design integrates a "thoughtful" XC geometry intended to minimize the strain of extended, "touring"-style riding.
Combined with adjustable aluminum-alloy handlebars paired to oil-sprung, 120mm frontal suspension fork and an "ergonomic" Velo saddle, the Nomads is touted to generate ride quality most akin to that of a lighter motorbike.
The Nomads runs on a single frame-mounted battery estimated to power it for up to 79 kilometers (km, or ~49 miles) - however, it can carry up to 2 spares (that can slot into a custom rear-mounted rack), thereby extending its range by an additional 158km (or 98 miles) at the most.
The bike could arguably have more torque for its potential extra load at up to 45 newton-meters (Nm); in addition, its motor will be restricted to an output of 250W on its impending European launch.
