Dell releases new 16-inch laptop globally with 120 Hz Tandem OLED display

Just over two weeks have passed since Dell announced the Pro Precision 7 Series 16. At the time, the company confirmed hardware various specifications. For some reason, it decided against revealing how much its new 16-inch workstation would cost.
Now, the company has answered that missing piece of the puzzle by releasing the Pro Precision 7 Series 16 globally. Currently, Dell is only selling its new 16-inch laptop with the Core Ultra X7 368H and no dedicated GPU. Cheaper Panther Lake versions should be available soon though, as should Nvidia RTX Pro Blackwell dedicated GPU SKUs.
Meanwhile, Dell is offering the Pro Precision 7 Series 16 with 1200p IPS or 4K Tandem OLED displays. Both 120 Hz VRR panels, the Tandem OLED variant adds a touchscreen, superior colour accuracy and up to 1,000 nits in HDR mode. A 96 Wh battery ships with all SKUs. All this hardware is wrapped up in a package that weighs at least 2.17 kg. For context, that makes the Pro Precision 7 Series 16 marginally heavier than the MacBook Pro 16 (curr. $2,549 on Amazon) but about 20% heavier than the Asus ProArt P16.
The Pro Precision 7 Series 16 starts at $4,499 in the US, CAD 9,607 in Canada and AUD 7,694 in Australia before tweaking Dell's configurator. By contrast, the same laptop has reached the Eurozone and the UK for around €5,175 and £4,400, respectively. Please see Dell's website for more details.
