Dell has seemingly confirmed the existence of 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake desktop processors thanks to a promo video the computer manufacturer uploaded to YouTube, which has now been made private. The clip concerned the upcoming refreshed Dell XPS Tower and Dell XPS Tower Special Edition desktop PCs that will feature CPUs from the Comet Lake-S lineup and Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics cards.

The promotional video for the Dell XPS Tower and Dell XPS Tower Special Edition desktop computers has now been made private on YouTube, but fortunately the content had already been viewed and reported on. It seems Dell has let the cat out of the bag about its latest XPS desktops and their CPU parts, which will apparently be representatives from the 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake series. Comet Lake mobile processors were revealed last year but the desktop counterparts have not been officially revealed yet.

There have been plenty of leaks in regard to 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake desktop processors, with the F-variants (no iGPU present) recently being revealed to join the rest of the extensive lineup. The top-end processor in the series is currently the 10-core Intel Core i9-10900K, although Dell’s XPS Tower promo video didn’t mention specific parts, only that the desktops would come with 10th Gen Intel processors.

Joining the clearly soon-to-be launched 10th Gen Intel Comet Lake desktop processors in the Dell XPS Tower and Dell XPS Tower Special Edition will be a powerful graphics card from Nvidia’s RTX selection. However, apparently the XPS Towers support graphics cards up to 225 W, meaning the configuration will include options from the GeForce RTX 2080 downwards (no 2080 SUPER, 2080 Ti, or Titan RTX).
