The Dell Latitude 14 7455 is a high-performing Snapdragon-powered laptop that looks and performs fantastically. Alternative options with similar specs would be the HP EliteBook Ultra G1q and the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen6 although I would throw the 14-inch MacBook Pro into the mix as well. The Latitude 7455 competes with the best of them, especially when it comes to the latest AI features.

The Latitude 7455 doesn’t deliver all the performance we’ve seen from this platform, but it is good enough to make this an excellent choice for those on the move. The lack of sales for Snapdragon machines defies the logic of what devices like the Latitude 7455 can offer.

Windows on ARM may be in its relative infancy – and IT departments tempted to take the plunge will need to spend time testing the more crucial elements of their preferred software loadouts – but laptops as competent as the Latitude 7455 prove that it's more than a capable alternative to any of the Intel, AMD or Apple-powered competition. During our testing, it's telling that we barely gave a second thought to what was under the hood. There were no slowdowns or software niggles, no design annoyances to unduly raise the blood pressure – we just got on with the task at hand. It's fair to say that the best tools are the ones you reach for without thinking, and the Latitude 7455 fits that category to a tee. The Latitude 7455's biggest issue is pricing.

The Dell Latitude 7455 is priced at Rs 159,990 and is a good choice for business users who prioritise portability, battery life, and efficient performance. It is well-suited for professionals who need a reliable machine for work on the go, with impressive battery life and a comfortable typing experience. While the lack of an Ethernet port and the 400nits brightness might be minor drawbacks, they don’t significantly detract from the overall experience. The Dell Latitude 7455 gets a thumbs up from us.

Dell Latitude 7455 is a machine that is perfect for professional use. The features like AI integration, touchscreen functionality, and multiple performance modes, make it the best choice as a companion for students and professionals. Whether you are creating reports on the same or you are just working on your PowerPoint presentations, the laptop has it all sorted. However, if you are someone who is looking for a laptop that can also run heavy games, then this one is not for you as you can get better options at the same price point.

If you are looking for a compact laptop with good AI capabilities, the Dell Latitude 7455 could be a good choice for your needs because of the Qualcomm CPU with its powerful NPU. The aluminum chassis is solid and the backlit keyboard is fairly good considering the thin profile of 14.69 – 15.64 mm. The Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100 CPU can sustain 4.00 GHz / 3.40 GHz P and E-core clock in short and medium loads which is a great score for a light 14-incher. However, in long stress, the frequencies are almost halved. The single fan is audible but not too noisy. When the processor is pushed to its limits for prolonged periods, the WASD zone reaches 55°C. This could be hot for some users but we think that these temperatures are still acceptable.

Qualcomm Adreno X1-85 3.8 TFLOPS: An integrated graphics adapter that four Qualcomm Snapdragon X processors feature, as of Sep 2024. It has 1,536 unified shaders at its disposal that are said to run at up to 1,250 MHz. The underlying architecture is reportedly in many respects the same as what was used in the Adreno 730. While thankfully faster than the aging Intel Iris Xe (96 EUs), the Adreno fails to match the Radeon 780M meaning Baldur's Gate 3, a triple-A title released in 2023, is barely playable at 1080p on low with 23 fps on average. Triple-A games of 2024 fare even worse, in no small part due to Qualcomm's subpar graphics drivers.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

SD X Elite X1E-80-100: A pretty fast ARM architecture processor (SoC) for use in Windows laptops. The X1E-80-100 is the second-fastest member of the Snapdragon X series, as of May 2024; as such, it has 12 Oryon CPU cores running at up to 4.0 GHz, the 3.8 TFLOPS Adreno X1-85 GPU, the 45 TOPS Hexagon NPU and an impressively fast LPDDR5x-8448 memory controller. USB 4.0, TB 4 and PCIe 4 support is onboard, too.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
