Reviews for the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus 7441

90% I spent a few weeks testing the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus - if you're looking for an affordable MacBook Air alternative, this is it
Source: Techradar English
The Dell Inspiron 14 Plus 7441 is, in my mind, a solid alternative to the MacBook Air. While that’s not exactly unique, this laptop does a good job at it as it’s very portable, has snappy day-to-day performance, and comes with a very long battery life. Considering that some aspects feel a little less than premium, its price tag feels just a little high.

70% Dell Inspiron 14 Plus (7441) Review
Source: PC Mag English
Dell's Inspiron 14 Plus is a good fit for casual home use. Its bright screen and excellent speakers make it ideal for entertainment, and its Snapdragon processor keeps things running smoothly. Standard biometric features and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity add convenience. However, the Inspiron doesn’t quite lead the pack. For a slightly higher price, the Acer Swift 14 AI provides longer battery life and an even better screen, if you want to run with Snapdragon silicon for its extreme endurance. Otherwise, we maintain that the Ryzen-based Asus Zenbook 14 OLED Touch cited up top is one of the best 14-inch values out there. Still, keep this Inspiron on the table, especially if the price is right.

Woah, Dell Rebrand?! Dell 14 Plus Hands-On
Source: Tom's Guide English
Tony has the scoop on the 2025 Dell computers that are getting all-new branding. Instead of familiar labels like XPS, Inspiron and Latitude (among others) that are always on our lists of the best laptops, the company’s laptops and desktops will simply be called Dell going forward. The company believes this will make finding their ideal Dell machine easier, but what does Tony think? Watch his hands-on Dell 14 Plus review from CES 2025 to find out.

One of the best college laptops I've tested is not from Apple or Lenovo (and it's on sale)
Source: Zdnet.com English
If you can get past the limited storage space and ports, I recommend the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus 7441 for anyone looking for a laptop that can last for hours on end with a solid suite of hardware. It can even outperform your average M1 MacBook Air. Regular prices for the laptop running on the Snapdragon X Plus chip start at $1,099, but right now Dell is offering $200 off for a starting price of $899. This puts the Inspiron 14 Plus at one of the most inexpensive laptops with a new Snapdragon processor. If you want extra power, a 1TB SSD, and the upgraded Snapdragon X Elite processor, prices start at $1,199.

Hands-On Review: Dell Inspiron 14 Plus Laptop’s AI Features and Battery Life Shine
Source: Lifewire English
After spending a good amount of time with the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus, I can confidently say that it’s a laptop that’s well worth considering. The combination of solid build quality, thoughtful AI integration, and impressive battery life makes it a great companion. And it's easy enough to grab a USB hub if you think you can't make do with the limited ports, although you'll need even more adapters if HDMI and wired internet are important to you. For me, the Inspiron 14 Plus strikes a perfect balance between performance, convenience, and security. Whether I’m working, streaming, or just browsing, this laptop has proven to be up to the task. If you’re in the market for a new laptop that can handle a wide range of activities, I’d say the Inspiron 14 Plus is definitely worth a closer look.

80% Dell Inspiron 14 Plus (Snapdragon X Plus) review: A compact Snapdragon laptop for under a grand
Source: Expert Reviews English
The new Snapdragon Inspiron 14 Plus is exactly what you’d expect from a laptop bearing the Inspiron badge: it’s good value and a thoroughly competent laptop with no obvious flaws or shortcomings. It isn’t super slim, ultra light or made of exotic materials. If you’re desperate for that sort of thing, you’ll need to cough up rather more for the Snapdragon-powered Dell XPS 13, which in all but pauper spec with a Full HD screen will set you back in the region of £1,800. However, if all you need is a laptop with solid battery life to do your day-to-day work on, the Snapdragon X Inspiron 14 Plus is a very good choice indeed.

100% Dell Inspiron 14 Plus (7441) review: The cheapest Snapdragon laptop yet
Source: It Pro English
Buying a Snapdragon Inspiron 14 Plus is a slightly more expensive exercise than picking up the Meteor Lake model. The latter will set you back £799 (£665 ex-VAT) with a Core Ultra 155H CPU, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. Replace the Core Ultra chip with the Snapdragon X Plus X1P-64-100 chip and you'll be paying £50 more or £707 ex-VAT. For £999 (£832 ex-VAT) you can have the X1E-80-100 12-core CPU and a 1TB SSD. That entry-level price makes the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus the cheapest of the new crop of Qualcomm-powered laptops and, given the impressive levels of performance and battery life, it's impossible not to see it has very good value when the Microsoft Surface 7 Laptop starts at £1,049 (£874 ex-VAT) and the MacBook Air at £1,099 (£915 ex-VAT), both with a 256GB SSD.

75% Dell Inspiron 14 Plus review: business as usual in the Snapdragon era
Source: Creative Bloq English
Dell makes business PCs, and this is one. It brings all the strengths of the Snapdragon platform - long battery life, cool and quiet running - and melds them with a thin and light design. Creatives may bemoan the lack of GPU power, but as something to take with you when you’re working away from your desk, this makes a good choice.

90% Dell Inspiron 14 Plus 7441 (2024) Review
Source: Trusted Reviews English
Dell’s Inspiron 14 Plus 7441 (2024) wasn’t meant to steal the show with the whole Arm-based Windows laptop revolution we appear to be going through at the moment but somehow it manages to with beefy power, a surprisingly great display and brilliant battery life. It’s certainly an eye-opener in the £1000/$1000 price range for those after a laptop with a fair bit of oomph for both productivity and more intensive workloads. The Snapdragon X Plus chip inside this Inspiron, in spite of having two fewer cores, still offers some excellent power that blitzed our benchmarks, while the 14-inch QHD+ display is bright with deep blacks and solid colours and contrast.

80% Dell Inspiron 14 Plus 7441 (Snapdragon X Plus) review: Marathon battery life, and it keeps its cool
Source: Laptop Mag English
The Dell Inspiron 14 Plus is a champ of a laptop. It boasts great performance, excellent battery life, strong thermals, and a solid webcam. However, while its display is sharp, it’s remarkably dull, and its graphics don’t live up to Qualcomm’s aspirations. If you want a stunning display, go with the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x. It also features faster overall performance and a competitive battery life. Not to mention, a much more comfortable keyboard. But overall, if your focus is affordability and incredible battery life, the Dell Inspiron 14 Plus is the one to buy.

70% Dell Inspiron 14 Plus review: A competent Snapdragon X laptop

Dell’s first Copilot+ PC is fine, but there’s nothing about it that stands out in the Snapdragon X lineup. That’s a problem when it costs as much as a Surface Laptop — but the right sale might make this machine a good buy.

The Dell Inspiron 14 Plus with a Snapdragon X Elite processor is a compelling option for those seeking a lightweight and long-lasting laptop for everyday tasks. While it may not be the most powerful machine on the market, its strengths lie in its impressive battery life, efficient performance, and capable display. The Inspiron 14 Plus boasts a sleek and modern design with a sturdy aluminum chassis. The build quality feels premium, with minimal flex and a solid hinge. The laptop is surprisingly lightweight and compact, making it easy to carry around. The keyboard is comfortable to type on with good key travel and backlighting. However, the touchpad, while functional, could benefit from improved precision and responsiveness. As for display, the 2.2K resolution display is a standout feature. It offers vibrant colors, deep blacks, and excellent viewing angles. The high resolution provides ample screen real estate for multitasking and enjoying multimedia content. While not the brightest panel, it's sufficient for most indoor environments.

Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon® X Elite processor, the Inspiron 14 Plus delivers smooth performance for everyday tasks such as browsing, document editing, and video streaming. The Snapdragon® X Elite platform excels in power efficiency, resulting in impressive battery life. While demanding applications like video editing or gaming may not be its forte, the laptop handles most productivity tasks with ease. One of the most significant advantages of the Snapdragon X Elite platform is its exceptional battery life. The Inspiron 14 Plus consistently delivers all-day battery life, even with moderate usage. This makes it an ideal choice for students, professionals, and anyone who spends a lot of time away from a power outlet. The laptop offers a decent selection of ports, including USB-C with Thunderbolt 4 support, USB-A, and a microSD card reader. The inclusion of Wi-Fi 6E ensures fast and reliable wireless connectivity. The Dell Inspiron 14 Plus with Snapdragon X Elite processor is a well-rounded laptop that excels in several key areas. Its impressive battery life, efficient performance, and vibrant display make it a compelling option for everyday use. While it may not be the most powerful machine available, it offers a compelling balance of performance, portability, and affordability. If buyers are looking for a lightweight and long-lasting laptop for everyday tasks, the Inspiron 14 Plus is definitely worth considering.

Qualcomm Adreno X1-85 3.8 TFLOPS: An integrated graphics adapter that four Qualcomm Snapdragon X processors feature, as of Sep 2024. It has 1,536 unified shaders at its disposal that are said to run at up to 1,250 MHz. The underlying architecture is reportedly in many respects the same as what was used in the Adreno 730. While thankfully faster than the aging Intel Iris Xe (96 EUs), the Adreno fails to match the Radeon 780M meaning Baldur's Gate 3, a triple-A title released in 2023, is barely playable at 1080p on low with 23 fps on average. Triple-A games of 2024 fare even worse, in no small part due to Qualcomm's subpar graphics drivers.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

SD X Plus X1P-64-100: A moderately fast ARM architecture processor (SoC) for use in Windows laptops. The X1P-64-100 has 10 Oryon CPU cores running at no more than 3.4 GHz, along with the 3.8 TFLOPS Adreno X1-85 GPU. The 45 TOPS Hexagon NPU, an impressively fast LPDDR5x-8448 memory controller, USB 4.0 support, TB 4 support and PCIe 4 support are included as well.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.

The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.
