Debian-based CuerdOS 2.1 comes with UFW on by default and many minor updates

Hailing from Spain and based on Debian, CuerdOS is a distro that comes with multiple desktop environment choices and several optimizations that allow it to deliver a stable, efficient, and fast experience. Version 2.1, dubbed Skycatcher just like its predecessor, comes with plenty of improvements, as well as self-developed tools and in-house optimizations.
Without further ado, these are some of the highlights included in the changelog of CuerdOS 2.1 Skycatcher:
- A new repository, hosted by the CuerdOS team.
- UFW enabled by default.
- CuerdTools received both performance improvements and new functions, as well as 124 vulnerability fixes.
- KDE got multiple improvements, including visual changes and removal of redundant programs, as well as no more X11 sessions.
- SnapWay is preinstalled on Sway for screen recording and taking screenshots.
- Yelena Hello was replaced by K-Hello.
- Waybar received a new and modern design.
- Celluloid and Haruna got replaced with Wasabi.
Sadly, this version drops no less than four ISOs, namely Budgie, Cinnamon, LXQt, and Mate. However, those interested in trying out CuerdOS 2.1 still have a variety of options to choose from. With sizes roughly between 3.1 GB and 3.7 GB, these ISOs are the following: Plasma, Xfce, Sway, and LabWC. To download them directly, just click the links (the files are hosted on SourceForge). To make sure that the downloads are in order, these are the MD5 files needed: Plasma, Xfce, Sway, and LabWC.
