Rockstar Games is a studio known for many games, such as the hugely popular Grand Theft Auto franchise. However, other titles have been developed, notably by Dan Houser, who recently spoke up about the best game he has worked on.
He spoke to IGN about this at the Los Angeles Comic Con, highlighting a title much appreciated by gamers around the world. Indeed, after someone asked him what was the favorite game he'd ever worked on, he replied without hesitation:
"Red Dead 2. I think, was the best thing that I worked on, the best single realization of open-world storytelling thematic consistency, and understanding how the games are assembled to take you on an emotional journey.”
But that's not all, because Dan Houser, who didn't write GTA 6, also holds other games close to his heart:
"I also think GTA 4, because we did try to evolve how we did the storytelling and did it in a fundamental way. I think the middle section of GTA 5 is amazing. When we got the three characters working, I think it was not flawless, but it was so smooth. That middle section, that was really amazing.”
And it's understandable, since GTA 4 is one of the games in the franchise that has had the greatest impact on players, particularly with the story surrounding Niko Bellic. And let's not forget Red Dead Redemption II, which touched millions of gamers around the world with its captivating and emotional story about Arthur Morgan.
As a result, many are expecting GTA 6 to be as impactful as its predecessors. However, the mystery remains, and we'll have to wait for its release to find out for sure.
