Despite Cyberpunk 2077 effectively nearing its end-of-life state, CD Projekt Red continues to keep it topped up with patches. The newest one, titled Update 2.2, brings forth some minor improvements to some of the game's lesser-used features. You can now scan a nearby car's colour and sort of copy-paste it on your own.
This was previously limited to just one in-game carmaker, but it now works for pretty much all of them. The update also lets you purchase ten new vehicles from the Auto Fixer. And Johnny Silverhand sometimes can now randomly show up next to you when driving. Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.2 also brings forth a ton of changes to Photo Mode.
Among other things, you can now spawn up to three NPCs in your photo, complete with customizable expressions, poses and everything. Moreover, you can revisit your in-game photos via photo frames in your apartment. Screenshots captured pre-patch will also appear, but only on PlayStation and PC.
Other notable improvements include a new range of customization options for V, more secrets to discover in Night City, a bunch of bugfixes for both the base game and Phantom Liberty, and several other quality-of-life changes.
Lastly, Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.2 also has a surprise for Intel Arrow Lake users, who CD Projekt Red says will get up to a 33% performance uplift.
