Casio launches new compact camo watches in the US with three colorways in tow

Casio has completed the US rollout of its Baby-G BG169CM camo series — the latest arrival is the BG169CMB-8 at $155, joining the earlier-launched BG169CM-2 ($145) and BG169CM-4 ($145). Together, the three watches wrap up a camo-themed refresh of the classic BG-169 platform — one of Baby-G's most popular silhouettes, originally introduced with a round resin case and external metal face protectors.
The BG169CM-2 and BG169CM-4 arrived first, in teal and berry-pink respectively, both using translucent dials that keep the palette light and "summery". The BG169CMB-8, which landed most recently, takes a different direction — an all-over grey camouflage print on both the bezel and band, an ion-plated bezel ring for a metallic finish, and a negative LCD display that gives the watch a more monochromatic look compared to the other two.
All three models share the same feature set: world time across 29 time zones (30 cities) with DST support, stopwatch, countdown timer, hourly time signal, five alarms, and white LED backlight with afterglow. Two legacy digital functions — Telememo for storing up to 25 contacts and a Day Counter that calculates remaining days to a target date up to 2049 — round out the overall package. Water resistance is rated at 200 m across the board.
The BG-169 chassis is a long-running Baby-G staple, and the CM series basically applies a street-fashion camo update without changing the original's compact proportions. All three are available now on the Casio US store.
