Asus has revealed a trio of new ZenBook laptops. The ultracompact devices are the ZenBook 13 (UX334), the ZenBook 14 (UX434), and the ZenBook 15 (UX534). The Taiwanese manufacturer has made sure the new ZenBook series can be configured with up-to-date components, while the innovative ScreenPad 2.0 offers numerous additional features to Asus’ latest notebooks.

The ZenBook 13 (UX334), the ZenBook 14 (UX434), and the ZenBook 15 (UX534) laptops have been officially announced by Asus. The devices are packed with features and come with up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7 CPUs (i7-8565U) for high performance. Asus calls the laptops “ultracompact”, as they offer an incredible 95% screen-to-body ratio thanks to the frameless NanoEdge displays they sport.

Along with the 8th Gen CPUs, the ZenBook 13, 14, and 15 laptops can be configured with discrete graphics solutions from Nvidia. The 13.3-inch and 14-inch ZenBooks can utilize a GeForce MX250, while the 15.6-inch variant of the new ZenBook series can operate with up to an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU. All of the new ZenBooks can connect to the Internet at Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) speeds.

The new Asus ZenBooks have a ScreenPad 2.0 where other laptops would usually have a touchpad. This input device offers a secondary display that measures 5.65 inches. The glass-covered touchscreen gives users access to Asus utilities that are designed to enhance productivity, and the menus it displays are organized in a similar manner to a smartphone’s interface.

The Asus ZenBook 13, 14, and 15 can be selected with either 8 GB or 16 GB RAM and the maximum storage capability is delivered by a 1 TB PCIe SSD, with 256 GB and 512 GB options also being made available. The laptops weigh from 1.22 kg/2.69 lbs to 1.65 kg/3.64 lbs depending on the model (and display choice for the ZenBook 15), so not only are they ultracompact but they are also ultra-portable. Prices and availability have yet to be announced.
