The Asus ZenBook Edition 30 laptop has been specially prepared for the company’s 30th anniversary (Asus was founded on April 2, 1989). The 13.3-inch device has very similar specifications to the latest ZenBook 13, but it can distinguish itself with its premium design and livery. Users can select either an i5-8265U or i7-8565U CPU and there is a choice between the iGPU (UHD Graphics 620) and the Nvidia GeForce MX150 GPU (although this is probably a typo in the Asus spec sheet as the official press release states up to an MX250 GPU).
Like the new ZenBook 13, the Asus ZenBook Edition 30 laptop boasts an impressive 95% screen-to-body ratio and incorporates the useful ScreenPad 2.0 input device. The Edition 30 can be fitted with either 8 GB or 16 GB RAM and storage options run from 256 GB to 1 TB (SSDs). At a weight of just 1.29 kg/2.84 lbs, the compact and portable laptop won’t weigh you down when you want to show it off at work or to your friends; and the ZenBook Edition 30 is the sort of device you want to make sure people see.
The laptop comes decked out in fine Italian leather in a Pearl White color. Asus hasn’t just stopped with a leather-encased lid for the ZenBook Edition 30 though; there are signs of luxury everywhere. The diamond-cut edges are colored Rose Gold, and appropriately enough there is an 18-karat rose-gold-plated logo celebrating the company's 30th anniversary. The special edition laptop is accompanied by some special accessories: a Pearl White mouse, a leather-look box and mouse pad, and a leather sleeve. Asus has yet to confirm the price and availability of this premium limited edition laptop.
