The Anbernic RG35XX Pro is almost ready for release. Surprisingly, the company's latest retro gaming handheld will cost much less than its recent offerings, too.

Anbernic is not waiting around when it comes to teasing the RG35XX Pro. Unveiled on Monday, the company only revealed full specifications for the gaming handheld yesterday. Nonetheless, it has now confirmed when the device will be available and its launch pricing.

Surprisingly, the RG35XX Pro will be much cheaper than the RG34XX SP that arrived last month for $59.99 with a $6 launch discount. Likewise, the RG35XX Pro will be cheaper than the RG34XX (curr. $84.98 on Amazon), too and even the RG35XX SP, with which it shares many of its parts. As the screenshot below shows, the RG35XX Pro will combine Anbernic's favoured 3.5-inch IPS display, Allwinner H700 chipset with 1 GB of LPDDR4 RAM but only a 3,200 mAh battery.

According to RetroHandhelds, the RG35XX Pro will be available from 10:00 UTC on June 10. Initially, the handheld will start at $44.99 with a 64 GB microSD card; presumably, Anbernic will also stock other microSD card options. This pricing will then last until June 13 at 10:00 UTC, after which the RG35XX Pro will rise to $49.99. Please see the screenshot below for more specifications.
