The OnePlus Nord is a particularly well-hyped Snapdragon 765G device that has had its latest release to open sales (in the Indian market) delayed until August 6, 2020 due to what its maker claims are stocking issues in the aftermath of its pre-order phase. An executive working for the POCO smartphone brand has just teased a new device that will challenge this mid-range smash-hit.
The spokesperson's tweet has led to speculation that the product in question is to be the long-anticipated true successor to the Pocophone F1. Then again, the brand may have failed many customers' expectations when the recently-released Pro version of the same turned out to be a rebranded Redmi device.
This F2 Pro has yet to launch in India; however, Ng's post is not likely to pertain to this phone in the market as it is a flagship-level device and the Nord, whatever else it is supposed to be, remains mid-tier. Furthermore, the Twitter account representing this brand was quick to reply with the phrase: "OMG TOO EARLY, DOES PR KNOW".
That may entail a clue that this "new POCO" may be new to all regions. In that case, the OnePlus phone may truly have seen its worst news since the launch of the Pixel 4a - not to mention the confirmation of this Google phone's 5G variant.
