AMD Radeon RX 7600 price and launch date revealed by leaked retailer listing
Rumours from earlier this year predicted AMD's upcoming mid-rangers, the Radeon RX 7800, RX 7700 and RX 7800, would arrive in June. Subsequent reports, however, said the Radeon RX 7600 would hit shelves a bit sooner. Now, Twitter leaker @harukaze5719 has some new information about the RDNA 3 graphics card.
A leaked retailer listing of unknown origin says the AMD Radeon RX 7600 will cost Singapore $545 (US$410). This could include local taxes/import duties, and the actual MSRP could be lower. Videocardz heard from its sources that it is actually US$249 but was unable to verify the information.
However, the Radeon RX 7600 might have a tough time keeping up with the competition with its 32 CU Navi 33 GPU, 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM on a 128-bit bus and 32 MB Infinity Cache. Its XT variant looks promising, though, as it promises a "double digit" performance bump over the Radeon RX 6650 XT.
The listing also adds the graphics card will hit shelves on May 26, reconfirming an earlier rumour. It tacitly implies the AMD Radeon RX 7600 will be launched before Computex, scheduled between May 30 and June 02. AMD could slyly launch the non-XT SKUs, leaving its Computex presentation for juicer stuff like flagship RDNA 3 mobile GPUs.
