Xiaomi has just launched its new tablet, the Pad 7 Pro, globally at MWC. While the tablet bears the "Pro" branding, like its predecessors, it's not positioned as a proper premium offer. That's set to change this year, however, with Xiaomi rumored to launch a true flagship tablet in the coming months.
According to Digital Chat Station, at least three flagship tablets are currently scheduled to launch in the first half of the year. Two of them are theorized to be the Oppo Pad 4 Pro and Vivo Pad 4 Pro; the last one is said to be a Xiaomi tablet, however, and could be branded as the Pad 7S Pro—or perhaps, the Pad 7 Ultra.
While the leaker doesn't specify which specification belongs to what model, previous leaks agree on the idea that the Xiaomi flagship tablet will sport an OLED screen—a first for the company. Reportedly, the tablet will also be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite and will feature 100 W charging, a battery of capacity in the region of 10,000 mAh, and a side-mounted fingerprint reader like on the Pad 6S Pro.
