Xiaomi Mix Fold 4: New leak reveals camera details and lack of global availability for the Mix Fold 3's successor
If previous entries in the series are any indication, Xiaomi will launch the Mix Fold 4 in August. Details of the foldable have leaked in the past but a new leak has now provided even more information on the device, including what appears to be the lack of a global release.
As revealed by Android Headlines, it seems the Mix Fold 4, like its predecessors, will remain exclusive to the Chinese market. Previous reports all indicated Xiaomi's plan to launch the foldable globally but it appears the Mix Fold 4, codenamed "goku", has a single model number “24072PX77C“, denoting exclusive Chinese availability. That said, though, the Mix Flip is still expected to debut across the globe except in Japan and India.
The Mix Fold 4, unsurprisingly, will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Camera hardware details of the foldable have also been revealed. It will sport the 50 MP 1/1.55-inch Light Hunter as its main camera, a sensor also seen on the Redmi K70 Pro and destined for the Mix Flip. Two zoom lenses are listed just like on the Mix Fold 3: A 60 MP OV60A for 2x zoom, and a 10 MP S5K3K1 for 5x zoom. A 13 MP OV13B serves as the ultra-wide-angle camera, with a 16 MP OV16F finishing up the list as the selfie camera.
