Xiaomi 14 Ultra Professional Photography Kit tipped for upgrade to power bank function
The 13 Ultra is a top-end device ostensibly designed to look like a 'real' camera, in keeping with its Leica branding and cutting-edge 1-inch sensor. However, on the off-chance it might still be mistaken as just another smartphone, Xiaomi also sells an accessory intended to deal with that kind of risk.
The Professional Photography Kit has a couple of functions besides that, one of which is to act as an adapter for the 13 Ultra's custom 67mm ring and lens cap. Now, notorious leaker Digital Chat Station claims to have spotted its successor in a new 3C certification.
The new product is now listed as having the model number 2402CPS69C and is described as both a "professional camera handle" and a "mobile power supply".
It does not have much of the latter to be honest, with a "max output" of 1,500mAh at 5V; nevertheless, housing it might be an improved use of its equivalent of the 13 Ultra Photography Kit's large grip.
Digital Chat Station feels that there is only 1 smartphone that will be compatible with it, which needs no introduction: the upcoming 14 Ultra of a similar, yet possibly more streamlined, design to its top-end predecessor.
