The RedmiBook Pro (2025) is now backed to make its debut alongside the Xiaomi 15 Ultra on March 2, 2025, thanks to a Digital Chat Station leak endorsed by the OEM's partner-president Lu Weibing on Weibo.
Should that be the case, the laptop is set to launch as a higher-end version of the pre-existing RedmiBook (2025), Xiaomi's latest challenger to the MacBook Air (now available for $1,189 on Amazon).
Its Pro counterpart is now believed to debut as Xiaomi's first AI PC, thereby supporting features such as the XiaoAI assistant that is also present on the company's range of Mijia smart home electronics in some regions.
Xiaomi product marketing director Ma Zhiyu might also have stoked hype for the new laptop with a Weibo post showing new RedmiBook packaging and hinting at Intel Core Ultra 5 power for the Pro (2025).
Ma Zhiyu's "hot machine" is also rumored to have an extensive 99 watt-hour (Wh) battery. The executive has also reportedly claimed that the Pro (2025) will have at least some gaming performance despite its potentially thin and light form-factor, achieving between 59 and 75 frames per second (fps) in Black Myth: Wukong.
