All configurations of the recently launched RedmiBook 14 and 16 are now globally available for direct import. For between $800-$1000, buyers get a sleek and solid mid-range notebook suitable for all kinds of uses outside of gaming and other graphically demanding tasks.

One week ago, Xiaomi launched the 14- and 16 inch models of its RedmiBook 14 (2025). Now, all configurations of the notebook are available as direct imports at specialized import dealer TradingShenzhen. These are listed below together with the prices:

International buyers are advised to inform themselves in detail about shipping formalities and potential customs fees. Customers in the US, for example, will likely have to pay a "simplified clearance" fee for orders over $800. As for warranty rights, TradingShenzhen offers both a 14-day cancellation period and a 1-year warranty. But since this is a Chinese supplier, buyers outside China cannot expect that their warranty rights will be guaranteed in the event of a claim. Those wanting more information about suppliers like these can search for reviews via sites such as Trustpilot. Another alternative is to simply wait until the models become officially available in your own country.

As for the notebook itself, all RedmiBook 2025 models come with an Intel Core 5 220H, but lack a dedicated GPU. This is no surprise in view of the weight of 1.36 kg (3 lb) for the 14-inch model and 1.65 kg (3.64 lb) for the 16-inch model. Both laptops have LCD displays with a peak brightness of 400 nits and a 120 Hz refresh rate, but the smaller model features 2.8K resolution (2.880 x 1.880) and the larger model 2.5K (2560 x 1440).

Both the 14-inch and 16-inch models have the same connectivity standards, namely one USB-A port, one USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, one HDMI 2.1 port and a 3.5 mm audio socket. WiFi and Bluetooth are of course standard. A 54 Wh battery is supplied for the 14-inch model, while the 16-inch model comes with 72 Wh. Windows 11 is installed; buyers have the option between English, German, French, Polish, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Greek.
