Xiaomi is working on multiple tablets this year. Two of them will be flagship-grade models but perhaps the most interesting of the lot will be a Redmi-branded gaming tablet, and new information about that device's launch has now surfaced.
According to Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is prepping the Redmi gaming tablet to launch in a few months. To be more accurate, alongside Redmi's flagship model for the year, the Redmi K80 Ultra. It's unknown when exactly the Redmi K80 Ultra will make its debut but a launch event in July or August is likely, considering when previous iterations were unveiled.
As previously reported, the Redmi K80 Ultra will sport a 6.8-inch screen and a silicon-carbon battery rated in the region of 7400 mAh. The Redmi gaming tablet will be a small 8-inch affair with dual USB-C ports. Both devices are expected to be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9400+, which has now been confirmed to launch on April 11.
Outside of the Redmi K80 Ultra and Redmi gaming tablet, Xiaomi is also set to launch the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro shortly. The Turbo 4 Pro is expected to debut sometime in April and will be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Elite.
