Polar Vantage V3: Launch date confirmed for life-optimised smartwatch
Polar has begun teasing the release of a new product, a few months after introducing the Ignite 3 Titanium. As usual, the company has not disclosed the device that it intends to offer up. Instead, it has shared a silhouette of the unreleased product, which we have embedded above.
Based on this sole image, the device has three hardware buttons on its right-hand side, all with textured finishes. Additionally, the device has a circular frame with two other elements jutting from its top and bottom. Thus, it seems that Polar is preparing to launch a new smartwatch, which it ambitiously asserts is the dream of every athlete.
Polar will unveil its next smartwatch on October 11 at 10:00 UTC. Unfortunately for the company, it spoiled its surprise by listing the Vantage V3 last month on its Mexican website. As we discussed at the time, the Vantage V3 could cost slightly more than its predecessor, for which Polar will include a 1.39-inch AMOLED display, a skin temperature sensor and a GNSS module, among other features.
