New Noise Luna lightweight smart ring with temperature sensor launches
The Noise Luna ring has been launched in India. The device is currently listed as sold out to customers who have not already paid a deposit for the wearable; Noise is offering WhatsApp, SMS and email alerts to tell you when the gadget is once more available to purchase. When stock levels are replenished, early customers should be able to buy the smart ring for the discounted price of ₹18,999 (~US$228), a ₹3,000 (~US$36) price cut on the ₹21,999 RRP (~US$264).
Unveiled in July, the Luna smart ring combines sensors with algorithms developed in partnership with Philips Biosensing to provide insights into your heart rate, skin temperature and blood oxygenation. You can use the wearable to track your sleep, monitoring your sleep stages and movement through the night. Also included are an activity score and a readiness score, which indicate how prepared you are for the day ahead based on previous exercise and rest. The titanium-shelled ring is 2.8 mm (~0.11-in) thick and lightweight, weighing 3-4 g (~0.1 oz).
The wearable can run for up to five days with typical use on a single charge, fully recharging in 90 to 120 minutes. The gadget connects to your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.0, compatible with iOS and Android devices. It is unclear when the Luna Noise smart ring will come back in stock in India or when it could launch in other markets like the US or Europe.
