Many of the first-party accessories for the PlayStation 5 are available in white, but in January 2025, Sony announced a Midnight Black color scheme for some of them including the PlayStation Portal and DualSense Edge Wireless Controller. The accessories are now available to buy in the new color.

Back in early January, Sony announced a color refresh for multiple PlayStation 5 accessories. Called the Midnight Black Collection, the accessories are now available for purchase directly from Sony and official retail partners.

The PlayStation 5 Midnight Black collection includes black variants of the PlayStation Portal, DualSense Edge Wireless Controller, Sony Pulse Elite Wireless Headset, and Sony Pulse Explore Wireless Earbuds. 

The black variant of the PlayStation Portal is priced at $199.99 and is available to buy on PlayStation.com, Amazon, and Best Buy. The Midnight Black DualSense Edge Wireless Controller isn't available on Amazon but can be purchased on Best Buy for $199.99.

You can up the audio experience on the PS5 with the Pulse Elite Wireless Headset in Midnight Black which is available on Best Buy and PlayStation.com for $149.99 or you can save a few bucks by getting it from Amazon for slightly less at $144.99. And if you prefer wireless earbuds, Amazon and Best Buy have the PlayStation Pulse Explore Wireless Earbuds for $199.99.

Sony also has the Midnight Black Collection available for purchase in the UK, Europe, and Japan. So do check your regional PlayStation online store or partner stores.
