The game follows Abby, a string puppet trapped in a circus, entertaining audiences by day and locked in a cage by night. When she finally breaks free, she discovers that freedom isn’t as simple as it seems. Her journey takes her through a grim yet stunning fairytale world filled with rivers, bandits, and dangerous traps. There’s also a constant reminder that someone is still pulling the strings—literally.

What makes A Juggler’s Tale stand out is its narration, told by a puppet master named Jack. His rhymes pretty much guide the story, which adds an eerie but captivating layer to the experience. The puzzles are cleverly designed around Abby’s strings, which means you’ll need to think about movement in ways that most platformers don’t require.
