HP refreshes the G60 product line

The G62t is the latest member of the consumer notebook series

The G60 is not exactly the series you would like to flaunt in public – it’s bulky and more of a laptop family for the intermediate users that look for a good combination of price and multimedia capability. The latest member of this family, the G62t is no different in terms of look. What’s different is the Intel inside. The G62t is powered by the latest Intel Core i3 and could come with i5 or i7 in future as well.

HP has kept a matte-finish for the body, and a 15.6-inch LED backlit display panel with an aspect ratio of 16:9. This display is good for watching widescreen movies. The G62t also comes with up to 3GB of RAM, and up to 500GB of HDD. I don’t know why HP chose to include an Intel graphics card and not a more powerful one from NVIDIA or ATI.

Connectivity is taken care of by a Wireless-N Card or a Wireless-N Card with Bluetooth. This $599.99 notebook is available now for ordering on HP’s official site.
