Viliv S7 UMPC comes in three different configurations

The pricing and specifications of the three models has been made official

  After receiving some positive response towards two of its products the S5 MID and X70 UMPC, Viliv has come out with a new UMPC called the S7. Viliv has just announced the pricing and final specifications of the S7 convertible touchscreen UMPC. Viliv S7 will be available in three different configurations corresponding to three different models:

·         S7 I-LOG HX – 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, 1GB RAM, 60GB HDD, and Windows XP operating system.

·         S7 I-LOG 3X – 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, 1GB RAM, 32GB SSD, and Windows XP operating system.

·         S7 D-LOG 3X - 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, 1GB RAM, 32GB SSD, DMB digital TV tuner, and Windows XP operating system.

All the models have a 7-inch 1024 x 600 resistive touchscreen display which is quite responsive, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a sturdy build quality. These three models will go on sale in Korea at a price of ₩729,000 ($572), ₩799,000 ($628) and ₩849,000 ($666) respectively. Release dates have still not been made official.

According to JKK Mobile there will also be a pile of international versions of the Viliv S7 mixing 1.33Ghz Atom with HDDs, SSDs and 3G modems. Out of these versions the flagship model will have a 2GHz Intel Atom processor (most probably Atom Z550), 1GB RAM, 32GB SSD, 3G, and Windows Vista operating system (with a free upgrade to Windows 7). Also there might be some additional features which have not yet been disclosed and the users will have to just wait and watch.
