New notebook series Satellite P300 and P300D by Toshiba

Toshiba attached importance in equal measure to design and performance, when creating those now notebook series

Toshiba Satellite P300/P300D

The new notebook series P300 and P300D by Toshiba are made for multimedia applications. They have a 17” display with WXGA resolution, and an Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD Turion 64 X2 CPU. The 17” display gets supported by an ATI graphic card. This is either a Mobility Radeon HD3650 or a Mobility Radeon HD3470. The hard disk size is between 320 GB and 500 GB. Certainly, Wireless LAN is built in too, and the top-of-the-line model offers the 802.11Pre-n protocol. Furthermore, a 1.3 mega pixel webcam with face tracking function is included as well. Toshiba equipped those notebooks with their Wireless Key Logon, which enables logging in automatically. The user can connect the notebook to a mobile phone by using Bluetooth, and if this cell phone is in range of the notebook, then the user won’t need a password when starting. The notebook series P300 and P300D are available in April and the prices start at € 910,- (P300D), and € 1.010,- (P300).
