OnePlus demonstrates Ace 7 Pro's 200 MP camera with sample photos

The OnePlus Ace 7 and the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro will be officially unveiled on Thursday, October 29. Shortly after OnePlus confirmed details about the display and gaming mode, the company is revealing details about the top model's cameras on the Chinese social network Weibo.
Accordingly, the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro has a 200-megapixel main camera and a periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom. The device apparently forgoes an ultra-wide-angle camera, as the remaining space in the square camera module is used for an active fan designed to ensure better performance under sustained load. With a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 the device should also appeal to gaming enthusiasts.
OnePlus has taken the opportunity to release a series of sample photos captured with the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro's 23 mm main camera and 80 mm telephoto camera. All of the photos were taken in bright daylight, so they pose little challenge for modern smartphone cameras. Still, the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro impresses with vibrant colors and high-contrast photos that offer a very wide dynamic range thanks to HDR processing.
As OnePlus has already confirmed, the Ace 7 Pro has an AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz, with up to 185 Hz reportedly possible in gaming mode. The smartphone is also expected to feature up to 16 GB of RAM, 1 TB of flash storage and a battery with a capacity of at least 9,000 mAh. Full specifications should be confirmed by the launch on Thursday at the latest.
